Student-Led Business Enterprise (SLE) Grant Information

Student-Led business enterprise will allow students to create, develop, manage and lead business ventures while developing the next generation of emerging leaders. All teachers who have a CTE credential and teach a Valley ROP course are eligible for the grant. Student-Led Enterprises must be associated with a course that includes specified content.

Student-led enterprise is:

  • Operated and managed by students
  • On-going and not a one-day event or one-off venture
  • Tied to a course in which students develop a business and/or marketing plan
  • Co-curricular and operates both inside and outside the classroom
  • Revenue-generating but does not have to make a profit (non-profits ok too)

 Student-let enterprise is not:

  • Individual student business endeavors
  • A job that a student secures on their own
  • Volunteering or working at campus events or stores

GRANT TIMELINES:

  • Grant Workshops – September 15 2025, through October 15, 2025
  • Application Opens on Mon. October 20, 2025
  • Application Closes on Wednesday, November 19, 2025
  • Grant Award – December 2025
